Semantics, Schemantics........

I made a minor change on the blog. I deleted two little letters... i and n. I'm trying to take on a more positive outlook and approach to all this, so I changed the header from "Our Infertility Journey" to "Our Fertility Journey." It's basically the same thing, but I'm getting tired of the negativity of in-fertility. So, semantics, schemantics... it's changed.

I received a message from one of the nurses at the center this morning. My schedule said I was to call them by 10/22, so I did. Of course, it was on the same line as "call with day one of menses or 14 days of Lupron, whichever is first." Neither has happened yet. AF has apparently extended her vacation, or maybe she's trapped in Florida with the latest hurricane, Wilma. Tuesday will be my fourteenth dose of Lupron, so I imagine I'll call the center then, unless AF shows before then. The only good thing about the delay is that if the IVF works, chances are the estimated due date will be beyond the 10-month limit imposed by AFLAC. I'm not covered if I have a baby within 10 months of purchasing the policy. I think I'm pretty much clear on that front now. If everything had started on time, we'd have been cutting it close.

The Lupron hasn't been too evil to me. I've had the lovely hot flashes and some insomnia, but they're tolerable. I gave myself one little bruise, about the size of a pencil eraser. The one Mike gave me grew to about the size of a 50-cent piece. Yowsers! It looks like a hickey. LOL At least it doesn't hurt.

Not much more to post, so I'll keep y'all updated when I know anything. :)
