Ducks in a Row.... Get it, Ducks?
I met with an AFLAC representative today about a short-term disability policy. I'm concerned that if/when I get pregnant I won't be permitted to work light duty. Granted, you'd think after what happened in Delaware County it'd be a given, but it's not. So, to keep from going into complete debt if I'm off work, I purchased a short term (12 month) disability policy. It should be more than enough to cover our expenses, so I feel much better about it all. I just can't get pregnant within the first 30 days of the policy. For some reason, I don't think that'll be an issue. LOL

Funny!!! Good idea though, never thought that the department wouldn't let you have light duty! Women are the only ones to get pregnant!LOL. Good luck in holding off! Love you--Mommy
It's a cliche but, they say things happen for a reason, you couldn't get short disability before and now voila you're eligible. You are truly getting all your "ducks" in a row and if your mean old boss won't cooperate - I know a good lawyer you can call!!! Love, Dan and Lisa
