Ding Dong! Delivery!

THE BOX arrived today. The FedEx man woke us up from a deep slumber about 0930. It's a big white box with bright yellow stickers declaring it to be "PERISHABLE." It looked like we were the recipients of a fruit basket. I brought it in from the porch and went straight back to bed. The Apothecary Shop is good about shipping these things with cold packs inside, so I knew it would be fine for a few more hours.
I opened THE BOX this afternoon. So many little boxes inside. I think there are eleven of them. And two bottles of pills. And some loose vials in bags. And a BUNCH of needles. Thankfully none of it needs to be refrigerated. Knowing that is one of the reasons we let it get shipped so far in advance. It can all sit in THE BOX until it's needed.
Mike spoke to a lady at City Hall today about which of the IVF procedures his insurance will and will not cover. She's going to send the list of service codes off to the insurance company and see what they say. My insurance has covered the medications, but it won't cover any treatments related to infertility. I feel very lucky that it has covered that much, but I still feel like more should be covered.
Until next time...
